Most assistants ship as a finished product with a short feature list. GCAI starts from the opposite assumption — that your assistant should do incredible things, and feel like yours while doing them. Deep customization isn't an add-on here; it's part of the point.

Ondra exists because most AI is a stranger you adapt to, instead of an assistant that adapts to you. Specifically:

The "figure it out yourself" problem. Most software help is a tutorial, a video, or a support ticket. Screen Coach ends that — Ondra watches your screen and talks you through any task, click by click, in the moment. Nobody has to translate a tutorial into their own situation.

The "I wish there was an app for this" problem. App Maker lets anyone describe what they want and get a real working app or game, with its own icon, filed in an App Library. No coding, no dev account, no waiting.

The "AI is a stranger" problem. Other assistants arrive as a finished product you adapt to. Ondra becomes yours — appearance, voice, wake word, tab icon, and unlock codes that open up new AI styles, voices, and add-ons. Small stuff, but it's the difference between using a tool and having your assistant.

Everyday friction. The coming features attack the little things that cost you time: asking the time anywhere in the world, checking what's on your computer and how much storage is left, getting things done across your accounts and services, notes you can save and edit, opening tabs on command, and emails written from a single sentence — so you spend less time juggling apps and more time doing the thing.

Several features are in the works: Screen Coach, which watches your screen and talks you through any task step by step; App Maker, which builds the icon and the full working app or game from your description and files it in your App Library; a world clock that shows the time anywhere on the planet; deeper computer access for questions about your files and storage; connected accounts so Ondra can get things done across your services; saveable, editable notes; the ability to open tabs on command; an email writer that generates and sends emails; monthly rewards for every month you're subscribed; and an icon generator for designing your AI's icon — background color, icon, and icon color — shown in the browser tab.

Ondra is still in development, and there's no release date yet. The demo stays free in the meantime.
